Cold sparks for the entrance, dry ice for the first dance, CO2 for the after-party — set up, cued and packed down by us, at venues across the city.
Most Ottawa receptions happen in a banquet hall, a hotel ballroom or a community centre, and every one of them has a different answer about what can be set off indoors. That is the part we make easy. We arrive well before your guests, we run the effect on your cue, and we take it all away afterwards — you are not carrying equipment at midnight in a suit.
The City of Ottawa’s fireworks and pyrotechnics application covers indoor special effects, but it does not mention cold spark machines by name. That is exactly why two venues will give you two different answers. So do not leave it to the night — ask your venue weeks ahead, in writing, and ask about cold spark machines by name.
Every booking includes delivery, setup, an operator on site and takedown.
Fireworks-look sparks with no flame and almost no heat — safe indoors, safe over a dance floor, safe for a first dance.
A knee-high cloud that stays on the floor and doesn't rise into your photos. The dancing-on-clouds shot, done properly.
Open-air booth with props, custom print layout and instant sharing. Unlimited prints for the whole rental window.
Twenty-foot columns of ice-white fog on the beat drop. Runs on CO2 alone, so it goes anywhere — no power outlet needed.
A DJ who reads the room, plus speakers and dance-floor lighting sized to your venue. Bilingual MC available on request.
Coverage of the whole evening, with a fast preview gallery in a few days and the full edited set soon after.
Balloon garlands, backdrops, welcome signage and table styling — built around your colours, not a fixed catalogue.
Effects, DJ, booth, photography and decor from one team on one invoice — one contact, one setup crew, no gaps between vendors.
All of these are inside our travel area, so the price you see is the price you pay. Booking on the other side of the river? We cover Gatineau too.
More than people expect. Cold spark machines produce no flame and very little heat, so a venue that bans traditional pyrotechnics will often still allow them. Rather than guess, ask your venue about cold spark machines by name and get their answer in writing well before the date.
Yes, and at the same price as downtown. Kanata, Nepean, Barrhaven, Orleans, Gloucester, Stittsville, Manotick and Greely are all inside our travel area. Further out, we quote the travel separately before you commit.
We normally arrive 60 to 90 minutes before guests do. If your venue only opens the room late, tell us at booking and we will plan a faster setup rather than rushing on the day.
Written quote back the same day, most days. No charge to ask, and no obligation.
